    Dear minkee,

I found your Axolotl-art at Google-Images and have to say it’s wonderful!!! *respect*
I’m from Germany and me and my friends - all playing volleyball - are in a real Axolotl-hype. :) So we want to make us t-shirts with this artwork. (”Team Axolotl”… ;)
    So my questions are:
    - Can we use your work (the whole image) for free?
    - Is it possible to get a vectorized version of your “axolotl-729387.gif” (for printing on shirts)?

PLEASE give us some feedback (maybe by writing an e-mail to me = axolotl@sokai.name)!

Thanx and go on with your wonderful artwork!!!

    Greetz from Germany - sokai

Hi Minkee. I have an idea for a series of children’s books that feature an axolotl as the narrative character. I really love your work. would you be interested in a collaboration? I live in new york and work as a creative director/copywriter for an ad agency in the city. best regards, –mac

    Hi,

I love the axo pic. Is it ok if I use it as a livejournal icon (crediting on first use, of course)?

    Best wishes,

hey, how you doing? i saw ur axolotl image searching on google, im a mexican girl and i did not know about these creatures -anyway ive got to look for some more information- until i read a very famous -at least in hispanic literature- short story written by julio cortázar named after these damn strange and terrifying animals: axolotl. After all this, my only commentary to your drawing is that i found it a little corny.. i dont know how to say it, they are not tender, even if they have that smilin little mouth, i think there is more than that childish view in their very essence… i think you would enjoy, very much reading that short story from Cortázar, if u can find it translated of course. ..I really would love also to know your new perspectives about Axolotl.
